Solaris is an hybrid grape which received varietal protection in 2001. It is perfect for the English and cooler climates of the northern wine making countries like Denmark and Germany because it is a hardy variety with good resistance against fungal attack.
Harvested in October, Solaris has a very pale lemon hue. Creamy, custard and lemon on the nose, it shows juicy yellow fruits, apples with a crisp balance and attractive nuance.
