The name Winbirri is an old Anglo Saxon term meaning Vine Orchard.
2010 saw the release of their first vintage and the result are splendid with a few awards picked up by Winbirri Vineyard at the annual East Anglia growers' association competition at Chilford Hall near Cambridge.
